Changes

Donna and I drove back from Denver in some pretty dramatic conditions. Snow, vast landscape, suddenly broken windshield, hours of serenity. Some decisions were made.

Wheel Fanatyk will no longer sell Ghisallo wood rims. Note: we have no issues with the makers, the Cermenati family; we have no issues with their pricing or quality.

Wood Rim Sanding

Wheel Fanatyk will concentrate on wheel building tools, advice and support, spokes, and wheel building memorabilia.

All future orders for Ghisallo product, technical questions, spoke lengths, pricing (retail, dealer, OE, etc.), warranty, distribution; for North America will go through their Eshop.

In the meantime, we have about 220 rims to sell. Best to sell them at once, but second best is a discount. We are marking them at landed cost. There’s no wholesale/retail difference. Just cost. These will be gone soon, so please don’t waste time getting what you need.

Check the Wheel Fanatyk webstore for details.

Wow, I’m shocked. This is the first time I ever read your blog, and then I came to this page called CHANGES and you came to a sudden end? From what I gather you were involved in an auto accident? Don’t mind if I ask what happened? I’m so sorry to see such a dramatic end to such a beautiful passion of wheels.

    Sincerely
    Dan Sotelo

Huge miss impression there, Dan. In 2012 I stopped carrying Ghisallo rims (they’re still available from the maker in IT). In 2013 Mad Fiber came to an abrupt end leading to today. All changes, more fun, nicer home base (Port Hadlock), new projects. Congrats on your BR&IN contribution, well put and TIMELY!
