I hope few of you are disturbed by the tone of our scene as we liquidate Ghisallo wood rim inventory. We’ve distributed their rims for 6 years and decided to discontinue. The rims, great as ever, are available at their E-shop.
Meanwhile, 80% of our stock has been sold and we are pleased. Unfortunately, with only two of us part-time managing this process, there have been a few mishaps. Our apologies but no one has received preferential treatment. Honest. Only clerical errors.
As we come to the end of this stock, I want to share an updated inventory and make a first-come-first-served offer. If you have previously contacted us and things are unclear or no response (check your spam folder), please consider going for these.
This is our stock as of April 7. If you can use any of these, please buy from our webstore at once. Inventories are correct. If your purchase is accepted, then we still have the rims.
Lots of news and cool ideas to share once we’re done with this commercial phase. I bought a beautiful rim drilling machine, hand powered, perhaps 19th century, more like a sewing machine than industrial tool. Thanks to Burcham’s Metals in Albany, OR whom we visited last weekend.
Plus, a clever wheel builder in Calgary has written a tension recording program that is calibrated to the Wheel Fanatyk Tensiometer. Wait until you see this (and it’s free).
